The successful candidate will be responsible for providing patient care, conducting preliminary tests, and assisting the optometrist with other duties.
The ideal candidate should have a passion for helping others and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
The Optometric Technician should also have excellent communication skills and be able to provide accurate information to both patients and doctors.
Responsibilities:
Assist optometrists in providing outstanding patient care.
Perform preliminary tests such as visual acuity, color vision, and depth perception.
Maintain patient records and enter data into the electronic health record system.
Perform medical testing such as a fundus photo, visual field, and ERG.
Maintain a clean and sterile office environment.
Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, scanning paperwork, and answering phones.

High school or equivalent (Required) Work Location:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
